The Singapore office furniture company is closing its doors.
Singapore deals reported this week that the company will be closing down.
“Singapore deals” is a listing of products sold in Singapore, with the company listing all the items on its website.
“There are no plans to continue to operate in Singapore,” Singapore Deal wrote.
“We have decided to close down the business and will be discontinuing all sales and returns.”
A spokeswoman for Singapore said the company was shutting down because of a lack of demand and had been unable to provide any additional information.
The spokeswoman said the firm was “shaking up the supply chain” to make it easier for consumers to get their goods.
Singapore has been struggling to compete with mainland China for business for years, with competition among online retail sites and a crackdown on illegal activities.
Singapore is home to some of the world’s largest Chinese expats, and many of the Chinese residents are in Singapore to seek work.
Singtel and Singapore Deal were established in 2012.
